We are all navigating what is the being called the “new normal”. Some better than others. I hope you and yours have been safe and healthy during these trying times. With so many uncertains still happening around us, especially in the state of Wisconsin we ask that you follow us on social media for up to date announcements in case anything changes quickly. As we have already done this month, dates and call for art info was updated and changed. We will always communicate these updates as soon as we make them on our facebook and Instagram pages and send out a newsletter. We all need to practice being more like water during those times and learn to flow with it.
With the updates we are excited to announce that The Critters Group show is back for it’s third year. This is by far on of the most popular show the gallery hosts and the call for art is now open. The opening reception for the show will be Thursday December 3rd from 6-8:30pm. You can enter you artwork via our link on our website under “call for art.”
Newly added to our website, you can now shop a selection of our hand-made gift items online. You will find items like this leather hand painted travel journal and more under the SHOP in our menu bar. The gallery offers artists a brick and mortar retail space to showcase and sell their hand-made items. This is something we are passionate about, helping the artists within our community grow and succeed. Whenever you purchase an item from the gift shop half goes back to the artist who made it! How cool is that? Best part is we do all the hard work for them so they can focus on making and creating. We encourage you now more than ever to support your small business community. Many offer online shopping, shipping, in store pick up and private shopping times to make you feel safe and comfortable. If you can go to the grocery store or a big box store than there is no reason why you can shop at a small, independent and locally owned shop. Make the effort to keep them in business for years to come and feel good that you are putting money back into your community. It’s a win win for everyone.
